Electronic claim submission allows for faster claim processing which in turn gets you your money faster. It also has a tracking system, this function is beneficial when the insurance company(s) states that they never have received your claim. By using the tracking system we can appeal the claim denial with a time stamp as to when the claim was submitted and accepted by the insurance company. No claim is ever forgotten about until it is finalized.
As most providers know, to get paid correctly you need to be in network with the various insurance companies in your area. To be in network you must complete application after application, one for each insurance company. This all takes a lot of your time which could be used to care for your patients'. When we are contracted to credential a provider, we will put together a game plan.
